The Pioneer Rugby Football Club is a successful and well-established club based in the regional town of Gore. Comprising of 1st Division, 2nd Division, and Women's teams, plus a strong junior programme.

Established in 1904, the club boasts sixteen teams: Senior Division 1 and 2nd Division (Reserves), a women's team, plus thirteen junior teams.
